1) Going to the supermarket is NOT a family or barkada event

If you need to bring someone to help you carry or bring your groceries home, tell them to wait outside. One additional person in an enclosed space is still one person too many! Also, choose the time to do your errands. Keep away from crowds!

2) Always bring your quarantine pass with you when going out

Bring your employment ceritificates and IDs so you don’t have to spend time and effort explaining to enforcers why you’re out of your residence and en route to work.

3) Encourage people who do not have any business going out of the house to stay put

If you have a garden or an enclosed gate, stay inside. If you don’t have any, keep in mind that the street is not your garden or backyard- where you can hang out and fly a kite. Tell them not to come up with reasons such as : “Bakit si….?”. Tell them this is not the time to go rogue on rules that affect our country’s health!

4) You are mortal

Do not EVER think you can ward off the virus or you can easily beat it. You do not know what the future holds.

5) Don’t underestimate the power you have as an individual

You are just one person but you can do a lot by simply doing your part! Wear a mask, practice social distancing and wash your hands. Be awesome by being a responsible citizen and human being!
